In general, we aim to have your order delivered to you within a week, most are dispatched within 24-48 hours depending upon content. Express dispatch can be selected at checkout and orders for this service (same day dispatch) must be received by 12 noon. Parcels are then sent on a 24-48 hour delivery service depending upon your location. Please read on for more information about this. We are now using a courier service for the majority of our UK mainland deliveries; you still have the option of post for light items but during November and December we strongly advise you to select courier deliveries. There is a drop down selector when you go through checkout - this will often show you more than one option for delivery.
We do reserve the right to use whichever service we deem appropriate to ensure a timely and safe delivery.
All courier orders are sent on an insured and trackable service - an email will be sent when your order is placed and when your order is dipatched. Delivery will usually take place the next working day following dispatch for courier deliveries although some locations may require a 2 day delivery period. Smaller orders are sent via Royal Mail and can take a day or two following dispatch, longer at busy periods - this includes Easter, Mother's Day etc for the Royal Mail. If you need to establish your postal cost before placing an order remember that you can add products to your shopping basket and go through checkout but not make payment - in this way you will be able to see the charges and options available for your particular order.
*POSTCODES THAT FALL OUTSIDE OF THE STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGEbr> Certain postcode areas are charged at a higher rate by our couriers (DPD) in common with most courier companies. Where possible we offer a Royal Mail service for lighter orders but for heavier products a courier is the only way to deliver your parcel. The following postcodes will incurr a higher postage rate (please remember this list is dictated to us by the courier company and we pay the price charged for these areas)

AS PART OF OUR COMMITMENT TO REDUCING YOUR COSTS, FOR THE ABOVE AREAS ALL ORDERS OVER £100 WILL RECEIVE A 6.49 (which is the equivalent to that saved by the rest of the uk when placing an order over £100) REFUND AGAINST SHIPPING CHARGES. AT THIS TIME COURIER SHIPPING FOR THE ABOVE IS 16.99 INC VAT. THEREFORE FOR AN ORDER OVER £100 THE COST TO YOU WILL BE £10.50.
Please remember that we are charged by the courier regardless of your order size. It would not take us long to go out of business if we tried to cover these costs. Whenever we can we try to reduce these costs and improve our service.

About OrderingIt is our aim that ordering from this site be a straightforward pleasant experience. Your satisfaction is paramount; we want you to enjoy our products and be happy with our service. During the ordering process, you will be required to check a box agreeing to our stated terms and conditions. We would like to draw your attention to our order processing & shipping procedures in particular. In essence, when reading the terms & conditions you will see that we require a period for packing in addition to the time taken for delivery . Please note that during busy periods and during the months of November and December, delivery lead times will be extended. If you have a deadline we suggest that you allow at least 10 days for turnaround of your order during November and December and 5 working days at all other times - alternatively check the service message on our home page or telephone and or email for current order processing times.
As a website with a diverse product range specialising in fresh functional ingredients and custom made kits it is not often possible to dispatch on a same day basis. Normally we require at least 1 business days to package your order; this enables us to package in order of receipt which is fair to everyone. Do please note that this WILL be extended during busy periods. If you are in urgent need of your supplies we ask that you call or email us before ordering to establish the current time for packing and discuss your requirements. We will always try to help if you do have a particular deadline. During busy periods we all pick and pack orders and use our telephone answer service to screen calls and allow us to focus entirely on dispatch. We then collect messages at points during the day and will return any calls; please bear this in mind.
